The Anker Soundcore Space One is a wireless over-ear headphone with adaptive noise cancelling, 40mm dynamic drivers and LDAC support for Hi-Res wireless audio. Soundcore says it cuts up to 98% of noise in its lab tests and reduces voices twice as much as the Life Q30. It weighs 265g and plays up to 40 hours with ANC on.

Adaptive ANC detects outside noise and sound leaking around the ear cups, then adjusts the cancellation. The headphones start with ANC and Transparency both at level 5. Change either level in the soundcore app. Press the NC button once to switch between noise cancelling and Transparency. Add Normal mode in the app and the NC button cycles through all three.
LDAC sends more audio data than standard Bluetooth codecs, and Soundcore rates it at 3 times more detail. LDAC works with Android phones that support it. Multipoint pairing does not work while LDAC is on, so turn LDAC off in the app before you add a second device.
HearID tests your hearing in the soundcore app and builds a sound profile for your ears. To add BassUp, set a double press of the NC button to BassUp in the app’s Controls section, or pick the Bass Booster EQ.
Multipoint is on by default. With one device connected, press the power button twice to pair a second. Google Fast Pair shows a pop-up on Android 6.0 or later phones with Google Play services 11.7 or later. The soundcore app opens on one connected device at a time.
Wear detection pauses music when you take the headphones off and resumes it when you put them back on. To turn it on, remove the dust sticker over the sensor hole inside the left ear cushion, then enable Wearing Detection in the app.
Press the play/pause button once to answer or end a call. Hold it for 2 seconds to reject a call, or during a call to mute and unmute the microphone. App EQ settings change music only, not call audio.
Plug in a 3.5mm AUX cable and Bluetooth switches off. Turn the headphones on in wired mode to keep the music EQ active. Wear detection does not work over the cable. The AUX connection has no microphone, so calls in wired mode go through your phone’s own microphone.
The headphones charge between 0°C and 45°C and draw about 530 to 560mA. Soundcore recommends a charger rated 5V 1A or higher. If dirt or liquid enters the charging port, clean it and let it air dry for 24 hours before charging.
The Space One is not waterproof or sweatproof. Soundcore coats key parts of the internal circuit board with UV-cured glue to reduce damage from moisture. Clean the leather with a cotton cloth dampened with 75% alcohol, not water.
To reset, turn the headphones on, then hold the power button and Volume Up for 5 seconds. The indicator flashes red slowly 3 times. A reset turns wear detection off again.
