The Anker Soundcore Space 2 is a wireless over-ear headphone with 4-stage adaptive noise cancelling, 40mm double-layer diaphragm drivers, LDAC and Bluetooth 6.1. It plays up to 50 hours with ANC on and 70 hours with ANC off. Anker says it weighs about 260g, 10% lighter than the Space Q45 and the lightest model in the Space series.

Anker built the headband from head data of more than 2,000 people, with a wider contact area to spread pressure. The headband and ear cushions use slow-rebound foam for long flights.
Battery life in Soundcore’s test on an iPhone at 50% volume:

3D Audio and EQ changes in the app shorten these times. The 5-minute fast charge figure comes from Soundcore’s test with a 5V 1A charger at 50% volume, ANC off.
Noise cancelling is the default mode at power on. Press the NC button to switch between ANC and Transparency. Turn on Normal mode in the app to add it to the cycle.
LDAC works with Android 8.0 or later phones that support it. iPhones do not support LDAC. Turn it on in the app under Settings, Sound Mode. Samsung phones need LDAC turned on in the phone’s system settings first. LDAC and 3D Audio do not run at the same time.
Dual connection is on by default. With one device connected, press the power button twice to pair a second. The app offers automatic switching, which moves audio to the device that starts playing, and manual switching.
Button controls:
- Power: hold 2 seconds to turn on or off, press twice to enter pairing mode
- Multi-function button: press once to play, pause, answer or end a call. Hold 2 seconds to reject a call or mute the microphone during a call
- Volume Up and Down: press to change volume, hold 2 seconds to skip forward or back
- Long press of the multi-function button: set in the app to start your phone’s voice assistant, Anka, AI translation or Nap Mode
Nap Mode plays built-in white noise with ANC locked on and blocks calls. Set a timer in the app, and an alarm sounds when it ends. Press the multi-function button once to exit early.
Anka is Soundcore’s AI assistant. Say “Hey Anka” after turning it on in the app to ask questions, hear news or check the weather. Real-time and face-to-face translation cover more than 100 languages. Both features need the soundcore app open, an internet connection and the headphones connected to your phone. AI translation needs dual connection turned off. On Android, the app must run in the background.
Wear detection pauses music when you take the headphones off and resumes it when you put them back on. Peel the protective film off the sensor inside the left ear cup, then turn on Wearing Detection in the app. It works over Bluetooth only.
For wired listening, switch the headphones off, plug in the included 3.5mm AUX cable, then hold the power button for 2 seconds. Bluetooth switches off. Only the NC button works in wired mode, so ANC and Transparency stay available. The built-in microphones do not work over the cable. The headphones power off when you unplug the cable.
Dry the USB-C port before charging. The headphones do not play audio while charging. If you store them for a long time, charge them every 6 months. Soundcore lists no water resistance rating.
To reset, delete the headphones from your phone’s Bluetooth list. Then hold Volume Up and the power button together for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red 3 times. If the headphones freeze, connect them to a 5V 1A charger for 5 seconds, unplug them and power them on.
