The Anker Soundcore Motion X600 is a portable Bluetooth speaker with 50W of spatial audio from five drivers: an upward-firing full-range driver on top, plus two woofers and two tweeters on the sides. It supports Hi-Res audio through LDAC, has a 3.5mm AUX input, is rated IPX7 and plays up to 12 hours. Soundcore says its DSP delivers 8 times better sound than the Motion+.

The top driver fires upward to add a sky channel above the left and right sound, the way a theatre adds height. Press the Spatial Sound button to turn spatial audio on or off. It works with any music, with no special format needed.
A single Motion X600 plays in stereo: the left side carries the left channel and the right side carries the right. Press the BassUp button for heavier bass.
LDAC sends 3 times more data than the standard SBC codec. It works with Android 8.0 or later phones, not iPhone. Turn it on in the app under Settings, Sound Mode, Preferred Audio Quality. The switch takes about 10 seconds. LDAC uses more power and holds a steadier connection with little interference around. If you force 990kbps LDAC in Android developer settings and the sound cuts out, turn off Wi-Fi, keep your phone within half a metre and play downloaded files.
The 3.5mm AUX input plays audio from devices without Bluetooth, such as a CD or MP3 player. An AUX cable is not in the box.
IPX7 means the speaker survives immersion in water. Fasten the waterproof cover on the back securely before it goes near water.
In the app’s Pro EQ, drag any frequency band to shape the sound. Share your EQ with friends by link or QR code, and import theirs the same way. Sharing needs a soundcore account.
For stereo with two speakers, connect one Motion X600 to your phone, then hold the Bluetooth button on both for at least 2 seconds. You hear a tone when they pair. The main speaker plays the left channel and the second plays the right, and both play the sky channel with spatial audio on. Hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to leave stereo mode. The Motion X600 pairs only with another Motion X600.
The power button is recessed so you find it by touch in the dark.
To reset, turn the speaker on, then hold the Bluetooth button and Volume Up together for 5 to 10 seconds.
