The Anker Soundcore H30i is a wireless on-ear Bluetooth headphone with 40mm drivers, BassUp and up to 70 hours of playtime. It weighs 183g and connects to two devices at once. Soundcore states it has no noise cancelling and no voice assistant support.

Soundcore’s battery figure comes from its lab test at 50% volume with 3 songs on loop. Higher volume shortens playtime.
Press the multi-function button three times while music plays to turn on BassUp. Press it once to play, pause, answer or end a call. Hold it for 1 second to reject a call. Press it twice during a call to mute or unmute the microphone. Hold it for 3 seconds to power on or off. The volume buttons change volume with one press and skip tracks with a 2-second hold.
To add a second device, keep the first one connected and press the multi-function button twice. The headphones enter pairing mode for the second device.
Plug in the 3.5mm AUX cable and Bluetooth switches off. The AUX cable has no microphone, so calls in wired mode go through your phone’s own microphone.
The headphones do not play audio while charging, over Bluetooth or cable. They do not charge below 0°C. The charging current is about 600mA, and Soundcore recommends a wall adapter of 5V and at least 1A. Some laptop USB ports supply too little current and show a warning. Dry the USB-C port before charging and keep the headphones switched off while they charge.
The H30i is not waterproof or sweatproof. Soundcore says water enters most easily at the USB-C and AUX ports on the headband. It coats the internal circuit board with a UV-cured sealant to reduce that risk.
To remove an ear cushion, pull it outward from the edge of the ear cup. To refit it, insert the bottom of the cushion into the notch on the ear cup, press it flat and rotate it anticlockwise until it covers the whole ear cup. Line up the printed mark with the centre of the headband.
If the headphones fail to connect or a function stops working, delete them from your phone’s Bluetooth list. Then hold Volume Up and the multi-function button together for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red 3 times.
