IPX7 means the Flare 2 survives full submersion in water, so rain, spills and pool splashes do not stop it. The rating covers water, not dust or sand.
Press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode, then select “Soundcore Flare 2” on your phone. A steady blue LED shows it is connected.
To set up PartyCast:
- Connect one Flare 2 to your phone, then hold its Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until you hear a tone and the LED flashes white. This is the main speaker
- Make sure each extra Flare 2 is not connected to a phone, then hold its Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes white
- Each extra speaker connects to the main one by itself. Its LED turns solid white when linked
- To leave PartyCast, hold the Bluetooth button on any speaker for 3 seconds until the LED flashes blue
PartyCast plays the same sound on every speaker, not stereo. It adds about 600ms of delay, so Soundcore recommends a single Flare 2 for watching videos. To link with a Rave Neo, connect the Rave Neo to your phone, then hold its PartyCast button and the Flare 2’s Bluetooth button for more than 3 seconds.
On Bluetooth with no audio for 30 minutes, the speaker goes into standby. It stays on while charging.
To reset, hold the Bluetooth button and Volume Up together for 2 to 8 seconds. The speaker turns off, then back on by itself.
