The Anker Soundcore Boom 2 Pro is an outdoor Bluetooth speaker with 2+2 stereo sound: two 50W woofers and two 20W tweeters. It puts out 100W as standard and 140W with BassUp 2.0 on, reaching 103dB with bass down to 40Hz. It plays up to 20 hours, charges in 3 hours with a 30W charger and powers your phone through a 10W power bank. Soundcore sells the same speaker as the Boom 2 Plus, model A3134.

BassUp 2.0 drives both woofers harder, lifting output from 100W to 140W. Soundcore says the bass is 1.6 times stronger than the first-generation BassUp on the Motion Boom Plus.
The speaker floats and resists water at the pool, the beach or in the rain. Seal the waterproof cover tightly before it goes into water.
Plug your phone into the USB-C port on the back to charge it at 10W. The same port charges the speaker. With a 30W Power Delivery charger it fills in about 3 hours. When you plug in a charger, the indicator takes a few seconds to show charging while the speaker negotiates fast-charge power. It charges best between 0°C and 35°C, and stops charging if the battery goes above 45°C or below 0°C.
The 3.5mm AUX input plays audio from devices without Bluetooth.
Soundcore has released two versions of this speaker:
- Current version: Bluetooth 6.0 with Auracast. Links with other Auracast Boom 2 and Boom 2 Plus units, Boom Go 3i, Rave 3 and Rave 3S
- Earlier version: Bluetooth 5.3 with PartyCast 2.0. Links with up to 100 PartyCast speakers, such as the Boom 3i, Flare 2, Glow Mini and Select 3
The two versions do not pair with each other.
For stereo, turn on two speakers of the same version and hold the Bluetooth button on both until the light flashes white. A tone confirms pairing.
With no audio signal or connection for 20 minutes, the speaker turns off. Change or turn off the timer in the app.
To reset, turn the speaker on, then hold the Bluetooth button and Volume Up together for 5 to 10 seconds. You hear a tone and it restarts.
